our last run-through of the night, I was going to get water when I heard someone shout about blood being on the floor and I looked down to realize that it came from my pinkie finger. I had spotted blood stains on my flag during the run, but I definitely thought they were from an older season. Adrenaline must have really taken over, because I can’t for the life of me remember when it happened. However, by playing detective with the bloodstains I found on my equipment, I’ve determined that it was the sabre that did the damage. It’s pretty bad though; I didn’t feel it happen so I just kept going as usual and got blood EVERYWHERE
If you look closely, you can see the blood coating the pole of the flag. Kind of ridiculous.
